Many Hollywood celebrities have been at home for days now and have been trying new and interesting ways to keep in touch with fans through social media. While in quarantine at home, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus recently had a fun live video chat. During the live chat, the Rare singer made a big revelation to Miley and all the fans watching them. Selena opened up about being diagnosed with Bipolar disorder in a live chat on social media with Miley.

During a live chat on Instagram with Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez revealed she has Bipolar disorder. The Rare singer opened up about her being diagnosed during the 20-minute conversation on Friday with Miley on her Bright Minded series. In the live chat, Selena mentioned she realized about being bipolar after she recently visited a mental hospital. Yes, you heard that right. Selena also went on to share that understanding about her disorder after her visit to the hospital took the fear she had away.

Talking about her diagnosis of being bipolar further, Selena Gomez said, “And so when I got to know more information, it actually helps me,” sharing how getting the information helped her and added, “It doesn’t scare me once I know it.” As Selena opened up about how she underwent things, during the discussion, the singer also shared that she has witnessed mental health issues inside her family and said, “I’ve seen some of it even in my own family, where I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’ I’m from Texas. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has been helping up donating food to the hospital nearby to her home with boyfriend Cody Simpson.
